Trusting And Following The Path To Success

Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:38 NKJV

To fully embrace the process, you need to believe in taking the steps toward achieving your goals without validation. This is the essence of faith, believing before seeing. Understand that success is gradual and is a repeating journey. It begins with trusting that the process is the path.

Celebrating milestones along the way is key to keeping momentum going, even when things get tough. It can be tempting to give up when the journey gets hard, and especially when it seems like nothing is happening. It is vital not to underestimate the importance of compound interest and the collection of incremental steps. The goal is to prioritize progress over perfection.

We’ve all heard a “Don’t Give Up” message in our life, and it can feel condescending and frustrating when you don’t see success on the horizon. But the essence of why we should not give up is that the effort it has taken so far, is already a success.  You can’t move a parked car or even get it started if it’s in the garage, so keep going even if the speed seems slow.

Don’t underestimate the value of surrounding yourself with people who understand your journey and have walked a similar path. Learning from their insights will help you leapfrog their success. Being willing to be humble to take their advice without becoming defensive, is key to speeding up the process.

“You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.”

If you spend your time with people who just want to smoke, drink, party and go out every weekend, you’re going to be dragged down into that. But if you want to really achieve success, you need to spend time with people who inspire you to be better. Never be the smartest person in the room.

Maintaining a positive attitude in the face of obstacles will help you stay optimistic and build your perseverance. By trusting and following the process, you pave the way for fulfillment in all areas of your life.

Thoughts To Reflect On

Do you fully trust that the process will help me achieve my goals?

How can I celebrate the small wins and milestones along the way?

What strategies can I use to stay committed through the process when things get tough?
